TORCH™

Water Conditioning Agent, Acidifier-Buffer, Activator

AM-AG TORCH™ is a special formulation of buffers, activators, and water conditioners designed to enhance the degree and speed of herbicide performance. TORCH™ can improve both pesticide spray application and pesticide efficacy aiding in the elimination of the antagonistic effects of hard water on herbicide efficacy. TORCH™ is designed primarily to be applied with herbicides which utilize glyphosate as the active ingredient.

SPECIALTY ADJUVANT SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR AGRICULTURE USE & NON-CROPLAND AREAS

Key Performance Components

  • Optimizes glyphosate herbicide efficancy.
  • Very good water conditioner for areas with hard water issues.
  • Adjust pH of spray solution for optimum herbicide efficacy.

Application Use Rate

(Per 100 Gallons)

General Use: Use 250 ml of TORCH™ per 100 liters of spray by ground or air. Glyphosate and glyphosate type tank mixes: Use 250 ml of TORCH per 100 liters of spray solution. Do not exceed 1 liter per 100 liters of spray solution when applying TORCH™ to glyphosate-tolerant corn, cotton, soybeans and sugar beets. Water conditioning: Use 400 ml to 1 l of TORCH™ per 100 liters of spray solution when used as a substitute for ammonium sulfate.

Buffering: To obtain an initial buffering effect, use a minimum of 1 ml per 100 liters of spray. Rates may be adjusted to adapt to varying water conditions. It is recommended to use a pH measuring device is to determine a desirable TORCH™ rate.

NOTE: The above use recommendations are considered to be adequate for most uses under normal circumstances and conditions. Some herbicides may require higher or lower rates for optimum effect. Follow the pesticide label directions when this variability occurs. Do not add TORCH™ at a level that would exceed 5% v/v of the finished spray volume.

RESTRICTIONS: Do not mix TORCH™ with herbicide products that contain active ingredients based on DSMA and Sulfonyl Urea chemistry. Do not mix TORCH™ with undiluted pesticides.

TORCH™ Is Not Approved For Aquatic Use

General Information

AM-AG TORCH™ is a special formulation of buffers, activators, and water conditioners designed to enhance the degree and speed of herbicide performance. TORCH™ can improve both pesticide spray application and pesticide efficacy aiding in the elimination of the antagonistic effects of hard water on herbicide efficacy. TORCH™ is designed primarily to be applied with herbicides which utilize glyphosate as the active ingredient.

TORCH™ adjusts the spray solutions to a lower pH and ties up metal ions which can deactivate glyphosate and other sensitive pesticides. However, TORCH™ is suitable and effective for most pesticides and nutritional products which can be used with wetter/spreader type adjuvants. Careful observation from the applicator pertaining to the deposit of the droplet can lead to optimized results by adjusting the rate of the adjuvant accordingly to ensure thorough coverage of the spray surface including minimal plant run-off.

Mixing Instructions

Prior to making any pesticide application, be sure to use clean mixing and application equipment. Carefully follow the observations on the product label. A jar test should be conducted for compatibility before mixing the individual components into the spray tank. Fill spray tank three – quarter fullwith water and begin agitation. Add TORCH™ and continue theagitation process. Add pesticides and/or fertilizers as directed by the product label or use the following mixing order if no other instructions area vailable:

1. Micronutrients and fertilizers.

2. Dry flowables & water dispersible granules. ( Be sure the granules have dissolved well prior to adding the remaining ingredients ).

3. Water soluble pesticides.

4. Flowables & emulsifiable concentrates.

5. Continue agitation and complete filling of the spray tank.
