Commercial Specialty Crops
Importance of Healthy Production of Specialty Crops
The growing of specialty crops is a very important sector in today’s agriculture production. Specialties account for approximately 50% or more of the total agricultural output of many of Latin American countries. While some of the main crops include corn, citrus, sugarcane, grain sorghum, wheat, barley and various beans, other specialty crops including berries, bananas, papayas, mangos, pineapple, tobacco, coffee, and forages. What these all have in common, is they are all subject to environmental stresses and soil that lacks proper nutrition.
Formulated To Tolerate Environmental Stresses
Augmentation of biofertilizers and biostimulants help with the management of disease and insect pressure and assist specialty crop producers in the selection of the proper adjuvant packages to enhance the efficacy of the target product to be applied. Another key issue when growing specialties is the need for proper management practices while dealing with a wide spectrum of low to excessive rainfall in many different areas as well as a vast array of different growing conditions. Our products help balance and improve water retention while increasing plant productivity under all types of environmental conditions.
